This is kind of silly, but it’s a requirement of one of the banner ads, so here goes:

- If you post a comment, that comment can be seen by anybody who visits the page. This website will make no effort to hide personal information if you choose to enter it.
- The entire website, including comments, may be backed up and stored off-site at the webmaster’s discretion.
- Any comments can be deleted at any time for any reason.
- Contents of any comment may be extracted and be used to promote this site, unless the poster requests that it not be used.
- The poster of a comment is responsible for any copyright infringement. This site cannot and will not be held responsible beyond making a reasonable effort to remove any material proven to infringe copyright, at the request of the copyright holder.
- Visitors may register for an account by providing a username and password. The email address will be used only for the following purposes:
- to send an activation link at signup,
- to send a password reminder if requested,
- to send newletters or site updates (see next point),
- to notify registered users if the security of their email address may have been compromised, or
- to send notices of privacy policy changes.
- If this website chooses to create newsletters or site update emails, these will be done in a strictly opt-in manner. This means that you will have to specifically check a checkbox on a form and submit it to get these emails. Each email newsletter or site update will contain a link to opt-out of future mailings of this type.
- Email addresses will not be resold or redistributed.
- Email addresses will not be used for commercial email (aka spam).
- This site will make a reasonable effort to maintain the privacy of the user list. This website will not be responsible for loss of data or distribution of email addresses that could not have been prevented with reasonable care.
- If you click on a banner, the advertising company or site linked may gather personal information which may be shared with this website. Read any privacy policies on linked sites carefully before entering any personal information.
- Advertisers may store your personal information and may share that information with this website.
- Any personal information provided by advertisers will be used only to verify the performance of the advertisements. This website will not resell or redistribute any personal information. If possible and allowed by the advertiser, personal information will be removed immediately.
- If this privacy policy is not acceptable, do not register for an account or use the site.
- This privacy policy can change at any time. Any registered users will be notified if it changes. Non-registered users are responsible to check for changes.
